Tanner Ludtke Earns NCHC All-Rookie Team Honors

Arizona Coyotes 3rd round draft pick and Maverick forward Tanner Ludtke has been named to the NCHC All-Rookie Team after his 2023-24 campaign.

The Elko, Minnesota native lead the team Mavericks in points through the regular season. Playing in all 34 games this year, Ludtke has lit the lamp 10 times and added 15 assists for 25 points. That ranks fourth among all NCHC freshmen this year.  His 20 points in NCHC play was tied for the team lead with Jack Randl. In conference games, he netted seven goals and tallied 13 assists.

His 20 points equaled Miko Matikka and Alex Bump in conference play to tie for second among NCHC rookies.

The Omaha freshman also paced the team in plus-minus with Victor Mancini with a +10 rating for the regular season.

Ludtke was tabbed Rookie of the Week once this season as part of an 8-game point streak from Jan. 6-Feb. 2 (5g, 6a).

Ludtke joins Jake Guentzel (2013-14), Luc Snuggerud (2014-15), Evan Weninger (2015-16), Taylor Ward (2018-19), Joey Abate (2019-20), Brandon Scanlin (2019-20) and his teammates Jo Lemay and Jacob Guevin as the only Mavericks to be named to the All-Rookie team.
