The Omaha Mavericks are slated to take on the undefeated conference leaders the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Tipoff will be on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m.

Morgann Gardner led the Mavericks with her 17-point 10-rebound double-double. Going 7-of-10 from the field and 1-of-2 from the free throw line, Gardner tabs her first career double-double. The other three Mavericks in double-digits were

• Omaha outshot the Coyotes in both field goals (45.5%, 22-of-55 vs. 32.4%, 22-of-68) and three-pointers (43.8%, 7-of-16 vs. 24.2%, 8-of-33). Though having a lower shot percentage (62.5% vs. 75%) the Mavericks made more free throws (20-of-32 vs. 15-of-20).
• The Maverick's average 18 free throws made per game ranks them second among all D1 teams, sitting just behind LSU.
• The depth of the Omaha roster continues to show as they average 26.1 bench points per game, which ranks bumps them up to 25th nationally.
• Omaha's scoring offense enters the top 50 with 74.3 average points per game. From the arc, the Mavericks are shooting a .351 percent to rank them 46th.
• Cave has gone 62-of-82 from the line, holding a .817 free throw percentage, now putting her in the top 100 among all D1 players.
• Stanley continues to lead the Mavericks in points with 294, averaging 12.3 per game.

Scouting the Jackrabbits
- SDSU carries a 13-game win streak into Saturday's contest against Omaha. The Jacks are 19-5 on the year (11-0 Summit) with four of five losses coming to ranked teams.
- Madison Mathiowetz put up a career-high 22 points with six 3-pointers to lead SDSU at ORU last Saturday, earning her Summit League player of the week honors.
- Entering the week, Ellie Colbeck had gone 5-for-7 from the 3-point line in back-to-back games, setting new career highs in each contest. She scored eight against Kansas City Thursday
- In conference games, South Dakota State holds a 20.2 PPG scoring margin over its opponents, which leads the league.
- The Jackrabbits are shooting .483 from the field in conference games, which leads the Summit League. They are one of 12 teams in the nation shooting at least 48 percent in conference games.
- Brooklyn Meyer averages 16.3 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game and a .544 field goal percentage, all team highs. In total games, she leads the League in shot rejections and is second in rebounding and field goal shooting.
- In conference games, Brooklyn Meyer (17.2 PPG), Paige Meyer (12.5 PPG) and Madison Mathiowetz (12.3 PPG) lead SDSU's balanced offense.
After dishing eight assists at ORU last week, Paige Meyer leads the Summit League in assists per conference game (4.6 APG) and assist/turnover ratio (2.0).
- Brooklyn Meyer (7.0 RPG), Mesa Byom (6.9 RPG) and Tori Nelson (6.9 RPG) rank 5th and t-7th, respectively, on the conference rebounding chart.
The SDSU defense has held Summit League opponents to only 58.2 points per game, nearly 10 points fewer than the next team (North Dakota State, 68.1 PPG).
- Tori Nelson has made 98 consecutive starts for South Dakota State and 137 total starts, which ranks third all-time. She is also third all-time in blocks (136) and fourth in career games played (148).
Brooklyn Meyer has 48 total blocks this season, which is second in single-season blocks by a sophomore in program history. The sophomore record is 52 blocks.
