PEORIA, Ill. – Seven Mavericks represented Omaha Cross Country and one placed in the top 75 finishers at the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Midwest Regional Championships on Friday afternoon at Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Ill.
Junior Kamryn Ensley finished 74th out of 230 participating athletes with a 21:13.65 in the women's 6k event.
Freshmen Meredith Richter (22:26.7), Molly Caruso (22:50.2) and Carrington Hessen (23:48.2) competed. Sophomore Lily Schwartz (23:15.3), junior Lily Jackson (23:27.5) and senior Emma Hain (23:51.3) also competed in the field of 230.
Omaha placed 30th out of 33 scoring teams and 35 participating programs.
