SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Omaha outdoor track & field's senior Emma Hain, junior Grace Mustard and sophomore Avyn Urbanski were named to the Summit League Academic All-League Team, it was announced Tuesday.
Hain graduated from Omaha in the spring of 2025 and held a 4.0 GPA during her academic career as a Maverick.
During the fall of 2024, Hain was named by the Summit League as the Scholar of the Championship.
Mustard finished her junior season with Omaha, carrying a 3.97 undergraduate GPA as the Columbus, Neb., native works towards her degree in Psychology.
Urbanski wrapped up her sophomore year in Omaha, achieving a 4.0 GPA while also working towards a degree in Psychology.
To qualify for the Academic All-League team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.3 cumulative career grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale). Freshmen and first-year transfers are ineligible. Individuals must have completed at least one full academic year (two semesters, three quarters) at the current institution. Additionally, they must have participated in 50% of their team's completed competitions. In the sports of cross country, track & field, and swimming & diving, if teams are split to compete in multiple events over the same dates, all competitions will count as one toward the percentage tally.
Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's eight institutions that carry cross country, and voting is conducted by both the SIDs and facility athletic representatives (FAR). The women's team is comprised of the 16 student-athletes who received the most votes, with all ties standing.
