OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Cross Country is set to host the 2025 Summit League Cross Country Championship on Saturday, Nov. 1.
The Mavericks will compete against seven other teams in pursuit of a conference title.
Last time out, Omaha secured a second place finish in the Platte River Rumble Collegiate and had three runners place in the top-10. Of the Mavs four regular season races, two have been held at Mahoney State Park.
Freshman
Briley Early (Leawood, Kan.) was the first Mav across the line in the first three races of the season. At the most recent meet, sophomore
Meredith Richter (Medford, Wis.) was the first runner from Omaha to finish the race.
Omaha was picked T-6 in the preseason poll.
The meet will take place at Mahoney State Park on the cross country course. The men's 8-kilometer race is slated to begin at 10 a.m. CT. The women's 6-kilometer race will begin at 11 a.m. CT.
Tickets are by car and must be purchased ahead of time. The meet will be livestreamed on the
Summit League Network and
live timing will be available.
