Lynsey Tucker along with sophomore infielder
Maggie O'Brien have been tabbed 2023 Softball Academic All-Summit League.
Earning three of the 12 spots on the All-Summit team, Meyer and Tucker notch their second academic honor while this will be O'Brien's first.
Meyer finished the year with a 3.59 GPA in Multidisciplinary Studies. The First Team All-Summit League pitcher led the league in earned run average (1.26) and strikeouts 283. The Wilton, Iowa native became the Mavericks all-time leader in strikeouts and currently sits at 778.
Tucker, a Kinesiology major, had a 3.96 GPA this year as a senior. The Lincoln, Nebraska native was also tabbed First Team All-Summit earlier this year. Tucker led Omaha in batting average (.364), runs (31), hits (60) and started all 50 games this season.
O'Brien makes her first Academic All-Summit League appearance with a 4.00 GPA in Business Administration. The Palos Heights, Illinois native started all 50 games for the Mavericks this season. She registered a .272 batting average which ranked fourth on the team. Her 24 runs and 43 hits both ranked third for Omaha this campaign.
