After sweeping the Western Illinois Leathernecks last weekend at home, Senior pitcher Kamryn Meyer and Graduate slugger Rachel Weber earned Summit League Weekly honors this week.

For the third time this season, Meyer was tabbed as the TicketSmarter Summit League Softball Peak Pitcher of the Week. Weber earns her first career TicketSmarter Summit League Softball Peak Performer of the Week.

Retiring the very first batter of the weekend with a swinging strikeout, Kamryn Meyer became the Mavericks new all-time strikeout leader. That was just one of her 26 strikeouts this weekend. In 12 innings pitched, Meyer went 2-0 allowing just three hits while giving up no runs. To close out the sweep of WIU, Meyer pitched her second one-hit complete game of the season. She tied her season high mark of 16 strikeouts in the contest.

Weber's bat couldn't have been more on fire this weekend. Starting all three games for the Mavericks , the Lincoln, Nebraska native went 2-4, 3-3 and 3-4. Weber recorded two runs and four RBI's in three games played. In game two on Saturday, she hit her second career triple.

Meyer, Weber and the rest of the Mavericks head to Fargo this weekend for their regular season finale when they meet the North Dakota State Bison in a three-game series.
