For the second season in a row, the Omaha Mavericks land a top forward from Notre Dame out of the transfer portal. Jesse Lansdell comes to Omaha after skating in 137 games over four seasons for the Fighting Irish.
"I'm excited for the opportunity to join a great program like Omaha," Lansdell said. "As soon as I stepped on campus and was able to meet the coaches and guys, I knew that was where I wanted to be. I'm looking forward for the opportunity to be a Maverick this upcoming season and can't wait to get things started!"
Lansdell registered 19 goals and 33 assists for 52 points in his tenure at Notre Dame. The 5'11 Surrey, British Columbia native deposited a career high eight goals into the back of the net his junior season in 2021-22. He also set a career high with 11 assists the same season. Lansdell scored seven power play goals between his junior and senior campaigns. Five of Lansdell's 19 lamp lighters were game winners for the Fighting Irish.
The Maverick newcomer was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten skater in his time at Notre Dame.
