The Omaha Mavericks have added depth to the blueline with the addition of Ohio State transfer, Dominic Vidoli. Vidoli joins the Mavericks after spending his Freshman-Junior seasons with the Ohio State Buckeyes.
"I'm super excited for this new opportunity in Omaha. It's an unbelievable place to go to school and play hockey. I can't wait to join the group and get to work," Incoming blueliner Dominic Vidoli said.
A 6'0 native of Strongsville, Ohio, Vidoli appeared in 58 games for the Buckeyes in three seasons. He tallied four goals, eight assists and was a +12. In those 58 games played, the Maverick newcomer registered only 14 penalty minutes. Of Vidoli's two goals last season, one was a shorthanded goal against Notre Dame on November 18. The blueliner is no stranger to stepping in front of the puck either. Vidoli has blocked 51 shots including a career high 23 in 2021-22.
Vidoli is a two-time Ohio State Scholar Athlete and was an AHCA All-American Scholar in 2021.
