The No. 14 Omaha Mavericks head North to Grand Forks, North Dakota to wrap up the regular season with the Fighting Hawks.
The Teams
The Mavericks are sitting at 18-11-3 (13-7-2 NCHC) after splitting with the No. 6 St. Cloud State Huskies last weekend in Omaha. The Mavericks currently sit in second place in the NCHC with 41 points. Omaha comes into the weekend winning 10 of their last 13 contests.
North Dakota enters this weekend's series with a 14-13-6 (8-10-4 NCHC) record. The Fighting Hawks were in Colorado Springs last weekend taking on the CC Tigers. They skated to a 2-1 OT victory on Friday night and drew 0-0 in Saturday night's tilt. North Dakota took the extra NCHC point winning the shootout 1-0.
Last Time Out
The Mavericks and Fighting Hawks opened up NCHC play against each other back in November. North Dakota won the series opener 4-1 and then the NCHC rivals skated to a 3-3 tie the following night in the series finale. The Mavericks won the shootout behind a 40-save performance from Senior netminder

Miller's 10 lamp lighters before last weekend tied his career high. His 10th goal came on the power play two weekends ago at Miami in Friday's game. Tychonick assisted on the fourth and sixth goals for Omaha last Saturday.

Simon Latkoczy is 10-3-1 on the season. He currently holds the sixth best save percentage in the NCAA at .926%. His 2.07 goals against average is the eighth best mark in college hockey while his .750 winning percentage sits third in the NCAA.
