Mavericks Head to Western Illinois for Third Road Contest

The Omaha Mavericks take the road to Macomb, Illinois to tip off against the Western Illinois Leathernecks on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.

Quick Hits
    • The Mavericks take the road with a 2-5 overall record. Having gone 0-2 on the road, Omaha will look to pick up their first away win. 
    • Omaha comes off a close 89-92 loss to UIC. 
     Despite the loss, the Mavericks had their highest-scoring game, with several season highs. 
    •  Aaliyah Stanley had the first 30-point game of the season, pacing Friday's game with 33.     • Stanly, having gone 10-of-10 last game, now sits among the top 10 in the national for free throw percentage (95.2). Additionally, Stanley is ranked fourth for her three-point percentage (57.7). 
    

Scouting the Western Illinois Leathernecks
    • The Leathernecks enter with a 7-1 overall record and have yet to lose a home game this season. 
    • Western Illinois played St. Thomas this last Saturday where they beat the Tommies 82-78. 
    • On the season, Western Illinois holds a 22.7 scoring margin and a .471 field goal percent. 
    • Behind the arc, the Leathernecks go 39.1% but hold opponents to 25.4%.
    • On the rebounds, the Leathernecks average 10.2 more per game than opponents. 
    • The team is led in scoring and rebounds by Raegan McCowan with 133 points and 54 rebounds. Addi Brownfield leads with 35 assists and 17 steals.
