Kamryn Meyer garners her second Summit League TicketSmarter Pitcher of the Week award after posting a 3-1 record over five appearances last week. She was named Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 21, and this marks her fourth career honor.
Over five appearances, Meyer retired 44 batters, posted a .81 ERA, notched three shutouts and held her opponents to .126 at the plate. She also earned her first save of the season vs. Saint Louis.
Against Georgetown, Meter allowed just three hits and struck out 14 batters, which was just one shy of her career-high. She also retired double-figure batters vs. Central Arkansas (13), and Georgia Southern (10).
Meyer ranks third in the Summit League with a 1.13 ERA to start the season. Her six wins ranks second, and her five shutouts ranks first. Meyer has also retired a league-leading 93 batters which is more than 20 higher than the second place pitcher.
