Add another player to the list of Mavericks signing pro contracts.
Brandon Scanlin has agreed to terms with the New York Rangers, the NHL team announced Sunday.
The defenseman from Hamilton, Ont., signed as a free agent following his best season in Omaha. He was named to the Honorable Mention All-NCHC Team after recording six goals and 25 assists in 38 games.
Scanlin, who totaled 62 points in 98 games during his collegiate career, became the second Maverick to sign a free-agent deal with an NHL team. Forward

Additionally, goaltender
Isaiah Saville signed with the team that drafted him, the Vegas Golden Knights. And forward
Brannon McManus and defenseman
Nate Knoepke both landed deals with AHL teams.
