Box Score LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Omaha baseball team faced in-state foe Nebraska a second time Tuesday night, falling 13-2 at Hawks Field. The Mavericks are now 10-30 on the season, while the Huskers improve to 24-15-1.
NU starter Ethan Frazier (1-0) earned the win, throwing 4.0 shutout innings with four hits, one walk and two strikeouts. The loss went to junior
Corey Binger (3-8), who allowed one run on one hit and a walk in an inning pitched.
Omaha got multi-hit efforts from junior
Ryan Cate (2-for-5, one run) and sophomore
Grant Suponchick (2-for-2, one RBI).
The Huskers put up a run in the first, three in the fourth, seven in the fifth and one apiece in the sixth and seventh frames. Luke Roskam led the charge in the fourth with a three-run homer to right center, and Jake Schleppenbach's grand slam to right in the seventh capped a seven-run spurt for NU.
The Mavericks were held scoreless through five innings before putting up one in the sixth. Cate led off the inning with a double to right center and came in on a Suponchick RBI single up the middle. They added a final run in the ninth when sophomore

Henry Wittren with an RBI base knock up the middle.
Scott Schreiber finished 2-for-2 with a pair of runs scored and two more driven in, while Roskam was 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBI to pace Nebraska.
