First-team All-Summit as a designated hitter...Batted .287 with 16 runs scored, 22 RBI, seven doubles, two homers and a team-leading 23 walks...Hit .323 in Summit League competition...Ranked second on the team with 13 multi-hit games along with five multi-RBI performances...Also made 17 mound appearances with six starts and had two saves...Tossed 42.2 innings for the year...Threw a season-long 6.0 innings at No. 6 Louisville (Feb. 26), limiting the Cardinals to two runs on seven hits with no walks and a season-high-tying four strikeouts...Opened league play with a 3-for-4 day vs. South Dakota State (March 17)...Registered three straight multi-hit games in a sweep at Fort Wayne...Began the series with a 2-for-2 day with a double, scoring once...In the second game of the doubleheader, finished 2-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI...Closed the weekend (March 25) by going 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and another driven in...Named Summit League Player of the Week at the conclusion of the Fort Wayne series, having batted .500 with an .857 slugging percentage and a .562 on-base percentage...Earned his first save of the year with 2.0 innings of relief vs. Western Illinois, holding the Leathernecks to one run on three hits...Matched his season high for strikeouts in a 5.0-inning start vs. Oral Roberts (April 16)...Picked up his second save at North Dakota State (April 21), where he threw 2.0 innings of one-hit, shutout ball...Finished 3-for-7 with a pair of doubles vs. Fort Wayne (May 5)...Had another three-hit effort against the Mastodons (May 7) at 3-for-5 with a run and two RBI.

Batted .302 in his debut season as a Maverick...Totaled six doubles, one home run, 13 runs scored, 16 RBI and 11 walks...Registered nine multi-hit games and four multi-RBI performances...Totaled 10.1 innings over four pitching appearances, going 0-2...Made his mound debut vs. Eastern Michigan (Feb. 19), tossing 2.0 innings of relief...Finished 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored vs. Morehead State (Feb. 27)...Earned his first career start at Wichita State (March 1), limiting the Shockers to one run on four hits and a walk with one strikeout in 4.0 innings of work...Tallied the most single-game hits of any Maverick for the season at South Dakota State (April 9), going 5-for-6 with a double, four runs scored and another driven in...Went 3-for-4 and knocked in three runs at Kansas (April 13)...Against Fort Wayne at the Summit League Tournament (May 25), had another three-hit day with a 3-for-5 effort.

Three-year letterwinner for Coach Bill Lynam at Papillion-LaVista South High School...Three-time all-state selection, earning first-team honors as a junior and senior and second-team accolades as a sophomore...Helped the Titans to back-to-back district championships in his sophomore and junior seasons...Also lettered two years in football.

Born Oct. 9, 1996 in Papillion, Neb....Parents are Bob and Trish Suponchick...Has two sisters, Dani and Jessie, and a brother, Beau...Dani was a four-year letterwinner in women's golf at Omaha (2007-11)...Beau was a two-year letterwinner in baseball at Omaha (2011-12)...Hobbies include playing and watching sports...Has not yet declared a major.
