Box Score OMAHA, Neb. -- A three-run seventh inning rallied conference leader Oral Roberts past the Omaha baseball team on Friday, as the Mavericks fell 5-3 at the Ballpark at Boys Town. UNO is now 17-24 (10-12 Summit League) on the season, while the Golden Eagles improve to 30-13 (17-5 Summit League).
Guillermo Trujillo (7-3) earned the win, allowing three runs on nine hits and a walk with four strikeouts in 6.0 innings. Junior right-hander
Tyler Fox (4-4) took the loss, giving up four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks while issuing five strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. Anthony Sequeira snagged his seventh save for Oral Roberts, throwing 1.1 innings of scoreless, hitless ball with a walk and two strikeouts.

Ryan Cate and
Isaac Holt each had a pair of hits for Omaha, with Cate going 2-for-5 with a run scored and Holt finishing 2-for-3. Senior
Daniel Jewett also drove in a pair of runs for the day.
Oral Roberts jumped out first at 1-0, as Audie Afenir led off the second inning with a double to right center and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly by Logan Domenico.
The Golden Eagles tacked on another run in the third, beginning with Matt Whatley reached on a fielding error and advancing to second on another fielding error on the next play. After advancing to third on a fielder's choice, Whatley came in with Sequeira's bases-loaded walk, which stretched ORU's lead to 2-0.
Omaha cut it to a one-run game in the fifth, helped by four straight singles. With two outs, junior
Collin Leif singled through the right side, stole second and was singled in by junior
Alex Schultz to make it 2-1. The Mavericks then took the lead 3-2 in the sixth, when Jewett doubled to right center with runners on first and second, scoring Threlkeld and Cate.
The Golden Eagles equalized the score at 3-3 in the seventh when Matt Brandy doubled off the left field wall to drive in Chase Stafford. Following a pitching change, Sequeira sent an RBI single up the middle to score Brandy. Two batters later, Rolando Martinez drove an RBI single through the left side to plate Sequeira, punctuating a four-hit, three-run half-inning for Oral Roberts.
ORU held on to its advantage over the next three innings, as Omaha stranded a runner in the seventh and two more in both the eighth and ninth. In the bottom of the ninth inning, junior
Clayton Taylor drew a two-out walk and junior
Alex Mortensen reached on a throwing error, but a flyout ended the game with a final score of 5-3.
