As a Sophomore (2013)
Third-team Academic All-American by CoSIDA and Capital One, marking Omaha's first Academic All-American in baseball program history...Captured first-team All-Summit accolades and Academic All-Summit recognition...Batted .318 with a team-leading 32 runs scored, 27 RBI and 19 walks...Among the league leaders in multiple categories, ranking second in doubles (15), fourth in hits (57) and total bases (75) and fifth in batting average (.318)...His 15 multi-hit games were third on the team...Recorded a career-best four hits on three occasions...Went 4-for-5 with three runs scored, three RBI and a solo home run at Air Force (March 20)...The next day, followed with a 4-for-6 effort with two doubles, two runs and another driven in at Northern Colorado (March 21)...Had a 4-for-4 with three doubles, four RBI and a run scored at Western Illinois (April 13)...Named to the Summit League's Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence and Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Had a solid freshman campaign, batting .292 with nine doubles, a triple, a team-leading four home runs, 19 runs scored and a team-best 26 runs driven in…Started 43 of 44 games played…Totaled seven multi-RBI games, the most of any Maverick...Also had 13 multi-hit games, which ranked third…Blasted homers in back-to-back games at Northern Colorado…Went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI in the opener with UNC (March 9)…Followed with a combined 4-for-9 effort in a doubleheader with the Bears (March 10), adding two runs scored and four driven in…Finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored and four RBI against BYU, sending out his third home run in four games…Was 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI at Creighton (March 27), putting his mark on all three Maverick runs to key the 3-2 UNO victory…Compiled a 6-for-10 weekend in the series at IPFW (March 30 – April 1), adding a run scored and three driven in...Went 3-for-6 with a run scored, two RBI and his fourth roundtripper at Indiana State (April 29) to help secure the 12-inning win.

Lettered two years in baseball for Coach Dave Cork at Millard North High School…Split time for the Mustangs as a catcher and shortstop…Earned first-team Super State recognition from the Lincoln Journal Star and second-team all-state accolades from the Omaha World-Herald in 2011…In his senior season, hit .432 and totaled five home runs Helped MNHS go 3-2 in the state tournament for a fourth-place finish…As a junior, batted .402 for the year and hit for the cycle…Named to the All-Metro team and was an all-state honorable mention pick…Named to the honor roll all four years…Garnered academic all-state honors and was a member of the National Honor Society.
