OMAHA, Neb. – This weekend's Omaha-South Dakota series has been moved up one day to Friday-Saturday because of an inclement weather forecast for Saturday. The teams will play a doubleheader at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Friday and a single game at Noon on Saturday. The games will be played at Nygaard Field on the campus of USD and links to live stats will be available at OMavs.com. At the moment, South Dakota currently sits in second place in the Summit League standings, while Omaha is one game back in fourth place.

About the Mavericks

Series Information

A Look at the Coyotes
South Dakota enters Friday's contest with a 15-22-1 overall mark and sits in second place in the Summit League standings with a 6-3 mark. USD is coming off an 8-2 loss in Minneapolis, Minn. to 13th-rated Minnesota.
South Dakota's Yvon Minogue was named 2015 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I National Player of the Week for the period ending April 12. Minogue leads five USD batters who are hitting over .300 for the season. She has a team-best .467 average with 21 doubles, seven home runs, and 25 RBIs. Matley Jones is next with a .408 average and a team best 13 home runs and 45 RBIs. Allie Daly has 10 home runs and 41 RBIs this season.
In the circle, Madison Frain leads the team with eight wins and a 4.70 ERA with 45 strikeouts and 51 walks. Rachel Cue is 6-12 overall and owns a 5.89 ERA with 65 strikeouts and 87 walks.
