- As a team, the Mavericks are batting .253 on the season, but own a .271 average in Summit League play.

About the Mavericks
Omaha went 3-1 in four non-conference games last week. The Mavericks are 20-20 overall and hold 5-4 Summit League record. UNO currently sits in fourth place in the league standings. This season Omaha owns a 10-9 record at neutral sites and a 6-3 home mark, but are 1-8 on the road this season.
Tonya Peterson owns a .324 batting average to lead the Mavericks. The senior leads the team with eight doubles, 28 walks, and owns a team-best .477 on-base percentage. She also has 26 RBIs on the season. Lizzie Noble is second on the team with a .307 batting average with a team-best .580 slugging percentage and 30 RBIs. Noble has hit six home runs and six doubles. Allie Mathewson has a .295 average and leads the team in runs scored (32), hits (39), stolen bases (11), and home runs (9). Junior catcher Campbell Ditto has eight home runs and 20 RBIs to go along with a .510 slugging percentage.
In the circle, freshman Jaylee Hinrichs is 11-8 overall with a 3.26 ERA and 89 strikeouts. Hinrichs has earned two Summit League Pitcher of the Week honors. Senior Kat Barrow owns a 7-7 mark with a 2.57 ERA. The senior has 78 strikeouts this season along with two shut-outs. Carly Nielsen and Lizzie Noble each have picked up wins this season. Collectively, the Mavericks are hitting .253 with 45 doubles, four triples, 39 homeruns and 159 RBIs. Omaha has a .425 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .340. UNO is 40-for-46 in stolen base attempts and has drawn a total of 110 walks. The Mavericks' pitching staff has posted a 3.45 ERA, good for the third-lowest mark in the league, in 253.1 innings of work while striking out 187 and allowing 82 walks. A Look at Nebraska
Nebraska has a 22-18 overall record this season and are 10-4 in Big Ten play. UNL has an 11-6 mark at neutral sites, while going 5-4 at home and 6-8 on the road. Last weekend, the Cornhuskers won two of three games against the Purdue Boilermakers in West Lafayette, Ind.
The Cornhusker offense has nine batters who have a .300 average or better, plus two batters hitting over .400. Leading the way is MJ Knighten who has a .452 average with seven home runs and 44 RBIs. Kiki Stokes owns a .415 mark in 40 games with a team high nine home runs and 12 stolen bases. Stokes owns a .732 slugging percentage and a .535 on-base percentage.
In the circle, Emily Lockman is 12-11 with a 4.78 ERA in 129.0 innings. Lockman has 71 strikeouts and 55 walks on the season. Cassie McClure has a team-low 4.51 ERA with a 7-2 record. McClure has 29 strikeouts and 33 walks on the season.
Head coach Rhonda Revelle is in her 23rd season leading the Cornhusker softball program. In her 23 years at Nebraska, Revelle has amassed a record of 865-459. She spent one season as the head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1987.

NCAA Women's Softball RPI Rankings Released
The fourth NCAA RPI Rankings were released on Monday and Summit League leaders North Dakota State (32-7) is ranked 47th overall. IUPUI(25-12) moved up from 139th this week to 133rd this week.
Omaha (20-20) dropped one spot to 167th overall, while Western Illinois (13-15) is currently 169th overall. South Dakota (15-21-1) is ranked 182nd, while South Dakota State (12-18) moves up to 189th overall. Rounding out the Summit League is Fort Wayne (3-33, 269th).
Topping the All-Time Charts
- Senior Allie Mathewson ranks fourth in school history with a .669 slugging percentage. Tracy Carey (1994-95) holds the school record with a .737 slugging percentage.
- Mathewson ranks 11th in school history with a .355 batting average. Deb Baetsie (1993-94) holds the school record with a .450 batting average.
- Mathewson also is sixth in school history with 11 triples.
- Mathewson has hit the third most home runs in school history with 31, while junior Campbell Ditto is ninth with 26 homers. Amber Lutmer (2011-14) holds the Maverick record with 51 home runs.
- Ditto ranks ninth all-time in walks with 70. Amber Lutmer owns the school record of 121 walks in a career. Ditto also ranks seventh all-time in on-base percentage with a .434 average. Deb Baetsle (1993-94) owns the career mark of .499.
- Senior Tonya Peterson has been hit by a pitch 31 times in her Omaha career and holds the school record.
- Kat Barrow ranks eighth all-time in most strikeouts per seven innings. She averages 4.73 strikeouts. Lindsey Slocum (2007-11) owns the career mark at 7.56 strikeouts per seven innings.
- Opponents are battings only .258 against Barrow for her career, which ranks her 10th in the all-time charts.
