Live Stats (vs. Portland State)

The UNO women's soccer team travels west this weekend for a pair of games at the Soccer Etc./Nike Classic in Boise, Idaho. The Mavericks begin play on Friday at Boise State at 7 p.m. (CT). On Sunday, UNO concludes play against Portland State at Noon (CT). Live stats will be available for both matches. The Boise State match will be streamed through OMavs.com (purchase necessary).

Series History
UNO will be playing both Boise State and Portland State for the first time in program history.

Back-to-Back-to-Back Dani
Forward Danielle Archuleta scored a goal in three straight games from Aug. 31-Sept. 7. Her goal against Creighton on Sept. 7 made her the first Maverick to score in three straight games since Nicole Baier scored seven goals in a three-game span from Oct. 18-24 in 2009.

Searching for 200
Don Klosterman will take aim at a coaching milestone when he leads UNO into its 14th season in 2012. The only head coach the University of Nebraska Omaha has had, Klosterman has a 198-66-12 record, just two wins from win number 200 in his outstanding career at UNO. The two-time Division II National Coach of the Year has led the Mavericks to the national semifinals four times, culminating in the 2005 NCAA Division II National Championship. Assistant coach Ted Anderson is in his 14th season at UNO and has been with Klosterman every step of the way.

Next Up for the Mavs
UNO begins a stretch of three straight home games when Oral Roberts visits for a 4 p.m. match on Sept. 21 at the UNO Soccer Field. It will be the final non-conference game of the year for the Mavs, as Oral Roberts is not a member of The Summit League in women's soccer.

Last Time Out
DES MOINES, Iowa - The UNO women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 match at Drake last Sunday. After going into the halftime break scoreless, the Bulldogs (6-2) scored in the 56th and 86th minutes to claim the 2-0 win, dropping the Mavericks to 0-7 on the season. Drake took a 1-0 lead at 55:36 on an own goal by the Mavericks. Brittany Schuling added an insurance goal at 85:44 after her free kick hit the crossbar and crossed the line. Drake outshot UNO 16-3 overall and 8-3 in shots on goal. Meaghan Clark made six saves.

Scouting Boise State
Boise State is 3-5 entering the weekend. The Broncos lost twice last weekend, to Eastern Washington 3-1 and to UNO's other opponent this weekend, Portland State, 2-1 in double overtime. Boise State posted a 4-1 win over Summit League foe North Dakota State on Aug. 19. The Broncos are led by Shannon Schueren, who has four goals and two assists for a team-high 10 points. Katy Oehring has scored twice. Maddy McDevitt has made 31 saves and has a 2.04 goals against average.

Scouting Portland State
Portland State is 1-4-1 with the lone win coming last weekend over Boise State. The Vikings also played a scoreless draw against Utah State on Sunday. The Vikings have scored just three goals through six games but have also given up just seven. Lainey Hulsizer has a 1.13 goals against average and has made 22 saves. She was the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week last week.
