KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The UNO women's tennis team fell to future Summit League foe UMKC on Friday, 6-1, at the Plaza Tennis Center.
The Mavs fell to 3-11 on the season. The Kangaroos are now 12-10.
Alex Tran picked up the only win for the Mavs at No. 1 singles. Tran defeated Eva Dalvai 6-4, 1-6, 10-7 to seal a point for UNO.
Lindsay Weideman forced a tiebreaker in her No. 3 singles match with Amelie Amsallem, but eventually fell 6-1, 4-6, 5-10.
The Mavs face Emporia State Friday afternoon in the second match of the day.
