OMAHA, Neb. – The UNO women's tennis team faced crosstown rival Creighton on Friday night, falling 7-0 to the Bluejays at Koch Family Tennis Center. With the loss, the Mavericks are 2-9, while CU improves to 9-5.

Creighton opened the match by earning the doubles point with wins at all three positions. The Bluejays then swept singles action, with senior Heather Hottman battling at No. 5 before CU's Taylor Koehrson took a 3-6, 6-2, 10-1 win.

UNO returns to action on Saturday, March 31, hosting Hastings at Koch Family Tennis Center at 4 p.m.
