SEATTLE - The UNO women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 match at Seattle Pacific on Saturday night.
The Mavericks fell to 2-2-2 on the season. Seattle Pacific improved to 3-1 on the year.
The Falcons jumped on the Mavericks in the 21st minute on a 20-yard blast by Heather Young that deflected off the right post and went in.
Seattle Pacific built the lead to 2-0 in the 27th minute when Josie Graybeal scored to the upper left corner from 12 yards out. The Falcons added one more before halftime when Brandi Hamre picked out the upper right corner from 16 yards out in the 40th minute.
In the second half, Young scored her second goal of the game off of a header in the 54th minute, then Kellie Zakrzewski finished from 15 yards out to make it 5-0 in the 66th minute.
UNO was outshot 20-9 by Seattle Pacific, and 10-3 in shots on goal.
The Mavericks travel to North Dakota next weekend for a Friday game at North Dakota and a Sunday game at North Dakota State.
