EDMOND, Okla. – The UNO soccer team lost its second game of the season, bowing to Midwestern State, 2-1 in the Broncho Invite at Central Oklahoma.  Hilary Horvatic knocked in the Mavericks' only goal.

All three goals in the game came in a span of 1:37 of the second half.  Midwestern State got on the board when Kelsey Hill converted a pass from Lindsay Pritchard at 61:30.

Just five seconds later, Pritchard got loose and fired the ball past UNO goalkeeper #Lauren Fox# to make it 2-0.

Horvatic tallied her first goal of the season at 63:07 when her cross into the box ricocheted into the goal.

The Mustangs outshot the Mavericks 17-5 in the game including a 12-5 edge in the second half.  Fox finished with eight saves.

UNO (0-2) returns home for its home and MIAA opener against Missouri Western on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 3 p.m.
