OMAHA, Neb. - The University of Central Missouri built a two-goal lead and hung on for a 3-2 win over the UNO soccer team on Sunday afternoon at the UNO soccer field.  The loss drops the Mavericks to 2-4 overall and 2-2 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. 
Kayla Shain scored her second goal of the game at 52:33 of the match off a crossing pass from Kristin Bright to put the Jennies up 3-1. 
UNO closed the gap to one a little more than four minutes later when #
Megan Kingston# scored her second goal of the season on a penalty kick.  Central Missouri was able to shut down the Mavericks from there to remain undefeated at 5-0 and 3-0 in the MIAA. 
The Jennies had a 2-1 lead after the first half.  Aaryn Burke scored off a breakaway to put Central up 1-0 at 8:29. 
UNO answered when #
Monica Bosiljevac# finished off a scramble in the box with her second goal of the season. 
Central Missouri answered just 2:05 later when Shain earned her first goal of the game, chipping in a pass out of the left corner from Cara Hennahane.

Lauren Fox# stopped seven shots as UNO was outshot 10-5. 
The Mavericks play their next two on the road beginning at Southwest Baptist on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m.
