OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO men's tennis team was unable to complete their MIAA regular season schedule with a victory as they were defeated handily by the Bearcats of Northwest Missouri State, 9-0. It is the fifth time that the Mavericks have been shut out by their opponents this season. The loss drops UNO to 6-8 overall and 1-4 in the MIAA. The win pushes the Bearcats up to 19-4 overall and 4-1 in the conference.

Matt Frost and junior Drew Mercier# were defeated by Malcolm Harrison and Daniel Quesada of Northwest Missouri, 8-4. #
Eric McKnight and Jon McQuistan# made it close in No. 2 doubles, but were eventually beaten, 8-5.

The loss concludes the regular season schedule for the Mavericks as they get set to enter the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Assocation postseason tournament in Kansas City, Mo. First round action is set to begin on Saturday, April 24 at 11:30 a.m.
