OMAHA, Neb. - Head coach #Don Klosterman# announced Wednesday that seven high school seniors have signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha and play soccer for the Mavericks next fall. In addition, one transfer from Nebraska-Lincoln and a walk-on student-athlete will join the team for the 2010 season.

Jordyn Braun (Omaha, Neb., Millard South HS), Megan Kingston (Omaha, Neb., Millard North HS), Melanie McCormick (Omaha, Neb., Marian HS), Monica Bosiljevac (Omaha, Neb., Marian HS), Katie Pickinpaugh (Omaha, Neb., Millard West HS), Kerry Pivovar (Omaha, Neb., Skutt Catholic HS) and Logen Watts (Omaha, Neb., Marian HS) have all inked letters of intent to attend school and play for the Mavericks.

Bri Exstrom (Lincoln, Neb., Lincoln Southwest HS, Nebraska-Lincoln) will join the UNO soccer program after spending a year at Nebraska-Lincoln this past fall where she played one season with the Cornhuskers.

Sarah Nordstrom (Omaha, Neb., Skutt Catholic HS) will join the team as a walk-on next fall.

Will graduate this spring from Marian High School…played for the Westside High School JV team as a freshman where she was the team captain and was voted the team's MVP…played for Marian HS beginning her sophomore season as a midfielder…as a junior she was named to the class A second-team by the Omaha World Herald…plans to return to the Crusaders for her senior year this spring…also on the cross country team her sophomore through senior year where she earned three letters.

Played for Gladiator Rio and won four state championships…also played for OFC Rio…coached by Doug Trenerry.

Born on April 7, 1992...the daughter of Raymond and Catherine Bosiljevac…has one sister, Marijo, and one brother, Steven…plans to study marketing at UNO.

Three-year letterwinner in soccer…played defender and midfielder…she intends to play her senior year this spring…helped the Crusaders qualify for the Nebraska state soccer tournament her sophomore and junior seasons…made it to the semifinal round of the state soccer tournament as a junior…also a member of the volleyball team as a junior and senior…played outside hitter for the Crusaders…helped lead the team to the Nebraska state tournament both years on the team…the team won the state championship her senior season and finished with a 42-1 record on the year…named to the all-state tournament team as a senior…made it to the state semifinals her junior season.

Played one season with the Cornhuskers and helped the team to an 11-5-4 record...saw action in five games as a midfielder…netted one goal.

Lettered four years in soccer for the Silverhawks…claimed several school records through her prep career, including season goals (26), assists (17) and points (69)…as a senior she posted  a record-setting 26 goals and four assists to lead the Silverhawks to a 14-3 mark and their second consecutive city, conference and district titles…earned first-team Lincoln Journal Star Super-State honors, while the Omaha World-Herald also awarded her first-team All-Nebraska accolades…netted 25 goals and dished out 17 assists as a junior…named to the academic all-state team by the NSAA as a junior...posted 15 goals and six assists as a sophomore…earned all-state and second-team Super-State honors by the Lincoln Star Journal as sophomore…as a freshman, she notched 11 goals and five assists.
