DES MOINES, IOWA - The Mavericks came away empty handed on Saturday morning at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center as they were shut out by the Bulldogs of Drake, 7-0. Nebraska-Omaha fell to 3-3 while Drake has now won three in a row to improve to 3-6.

The Mavs were beaten in straight sets in singles play as Traci Moklestad fell in No. 1 singles to the Bulldogs' leader in victories, Manca Krizman, 6-1, 6-2. Sophomore Mary Lausten saw her overall record drop to 7-4 as she fell to Bulldog Earlynn Lauer in No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-0.

UNO's tough matchup against NCAA Division I Drake was no different in the doubles competition as the Mavs were swept. The No. 1 doubles pairing of Kelsey Haas and Traci Moklestad was beaten handily, 8-0.

The Mavericks return home to face the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers March 12 at the Hanscom Park Tennis Center starting at 2 p.m.
