OMAHA, Neb. - The Mavericks had their fifth-highest scoring output in school history in a 113-75 win over Peru State Tuesday night at Sapp Fieldhouse.
Six different Mavericks scored in double figures as they improved to 3-0 and Peru State dropped to 2-8. The Mavericks will return to action Friday and Saturday at the SUNHEAT College Basketball Classic in Grand Island, Neb. Friday they'll play Chadron State at 6 p.m.

Tyler Bullock had another sharp night as he went 6-for-7 from the field for 20 points. Dion Curry was also strong as he had 16 points off 5-for-7 shooting. He added six free throws. Eugene Bain was also 5-for-7 from the field for 12 points and Jeff Martin# added 11.

Josh Lynch and Matthew Starks# came off the bench for 11 and 12 points, respectively.
Bullock kept his season shooting percentage at 88 percent after three games and he's 21 for 24 from the field and averaging 18.0 points a game.
He and Curry led UNO with six rebounds.
Both teams started slow. After three free throws from Curry, the Bobcats scored the first field goal of the game on a lay-up by Evan Williams at 17:50 to make the score 3-2 UNO. That would be the last time PSC got within a point of UNO.
The Mavericks built a 10-point lead at the 10:13 mark on a shot by Bullock and they kept it in double digits the rest of the game.
They led by 17, 48-31 at halftime and then an 8-0 run made the score 68-40 at the 14:40 mark of the second half. The Bobcats never got closer than 23 points from UNO the rest of the game.
A basket by Tyler Welhouse in the final 30 seconds gave the Mavs a 38-point lead, their largest of the night.

Andrew Bridger# just missed having his third straight double-figure assist night with nine helpers.
Aaron Terry had six assists off the bench and overall, 33 of UNO's 38 made baskets had an assists.
The Mavs shot 66 percent in the game while PSC shot 32 percent. UNO won the rebound battle, 39-31.
The UNO school record for points in a game is 119 against Concordia (Wis.) in 1978-79. The 113 ties for the fifth most in school history. The Mavs last scored 100 or more on December 9, 2008, in a 101-58 win against York.
