MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Freshman sprinter Anja Puc finished third in the 400-meter dash, posting a provisional qualifying time of 55.72 seconds Saturday to highlight the University of Nebraska at Omaha's showing in the Kansas State Ward Haylett Invitational.

Kansas State's Donniece Parrish won the race with a time of 54.54. UNO's Kayla Koepke was fifth in the event with a time of 57.75.

The meet was the final regular season tune-up before the final North Central Conference outdoor meet next weekend in Sioux Falls, S.D.
