Mavericks 6th at Final NCC Meet

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The University of Nebraska at Omaha finished sixth in the final North Central Conference outdoor track and field meet Saturday.

UNO's 4x400-meter relay team of Jolene Smith, Lisa Tesarek, Kayla Koepke and Anja Puc ran fourth and Kelly Hollmann tied for seventh in the high jump in Saturday events. The meet was shortened because of the forecast of inclement weather, with most of the events completed Friday.

South Dakota won the women's championship and Minnesota State the men's title.
