ST. PETER, Minn. -- Minnesota State, Mankato won the final four singles matches Friday to notch a 5-4 North Central Conference victory over the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
The loss dropped the Mavericks to 7-4 on the year and 2-1 in the league before Saturday's NCC matches against Minnesota Duluth at 9:30 a.m. and North Dakota at 2:30 p.m. on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus.
UNO won two of the three doubles matches and
Rachel Faulk and
Katie Spahn reeled off wins in the Nos. 1 and 2 singles matches before MSU rallied.
