Before UNO                    
Was a three-year letter winner for Creston High School where she finished her career as the school’s record holder in the shot put (44-02) and discus (121-05)…was the Iowa State 3A Champion in the shot put as a senior after placing third in the Drake Relays that year…also was a Drake Relays and state meet qualifier as a junior…also lettered in volleyball.

Born May 29, 1998…daughter of Tim and Rhonda Hood…has two brothers, Zack and Sam, and two sisters, Marie and Abbi…her father Tim played football at South Dakota (1983-87) and her brother Zack played football at Kansas (2003-07)…majoring in psychology and counseling.
