Indoors, had four consecutive PRs in the shot put including a mark of 35-09 ½ at the USD Last Chance Meet (Feb. 17)…had three PRs in the weight throw including a distance of 48-05 ½ at the USD Last Chance Meet…outdoors, had three PRs in the shot put including a mark of 31-00 at the John Jacobs Invitational (April 22)…had a PR and team season-best throw of 125-10 in the discus at the Tulsa Duels (March 18)…put up a PR of 128-07 in the hammer throw at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (April 13)...named to Summit League Academic Honor Roll.

Before UNO
Was a four-year letter winner for Charter Oak-Ute High School...was the Iowa state 1A runner up in the discus twice (2015, 2016)...as a senior in 2016, won the district discus championship following wins in the discus and shot put at the conference meet...broke the conference meet record in the discus...also qualified for the Drake Relays...in 2015, was the Iowa Class 1A District champion in the discus as well as a state qualifier in the shot put...also qualified for the Iowa state meet in the discus in 2013.

Born Oct. 15, 1997...daughter of Craig and Allison Leisinger...has a brother, Christian...majoring in chemistry and biotechnology.
