OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Track and Field will head down to Lincoln for the Nebraska Spring Tune-Up on Friday, May 8.
The Mavericks will be sending 21 athletes to compete in 10 events, eight track and two field.
This is the Mavs final meet before heading to Fargo, N.D. for the Summit League Outdoor Championships.
After last week's performance at the South Dakota Challenge, two athletes have moved up in the conference standings. Sophomore Jocelynn Skoda (West Point, Neb.) is up to fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.20, while fellow sophomore Lilly Smith (Ankeny, Iowa) is up to eighth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.43.
The 4x100-meter relay team of senior Emma Klein (Gower, Mo.), Skoda, junior Ava Robinson (Aurora, Colo.) and junior Avyn Urbanski (Grand Island, Neb.) sit fifth with a time of 46.26.
Competition is slated to begin at 2:15 p.m. CT with the 4x100-meter relay. Live results will be available.
