VERMILLION, S.D. - Omaha Track and Field's Kate Kelly won the triple jump at the South Dakota Challenge on Saturday afternoon. 
 
The sophomore from Gretna, Neb. won the event with an attempt of 11.37 meters, approximately 37 feet.  
 
Fellow sophomore Ainsley Anderson (Omaha, Neb.) started the meet with the seventh fastest time in program history in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Anderson finished the race with a personal record of 11:46.65. 
 
In the 4x100-meter relay, the team comprised of senior Emma Klein (Gower, Mo.), sophomore Jocelynn Skoda (West Point, Neb.), junior Ava Robinson (Aurora, Colo.) and junior Avyn Urbanski (Grand Island, Neb.) secured the fifth fastest time in program history with a time of 26.26.  
 
Omaha will have a busy week ahead of it as the team prepares for its last weekend of competition before the Summit League Championships. The Mavs will take on the Nebraska Spring Tune-Up on Friday, May 8 and ISU Twilight on Saturday, May 9.
