Men’s Tennis to host Midland

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Men's Tennis will host Midland on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. CT. 

The Mavericks (0-5) hold a 6-0 record against the Warriors (0-3). 

Omaha dropped two matches over the weekend against Western Michigan and Wisconsin. Against the Broncos, the Mavs won two singles matches which marks the first time this spring they won multiple singles matches. Graduate Bryan Kuntz (Cuiaba, Brazil) won his match at No. 2 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 while freshman Maddox Lundell (Minnetonka, Minn.) won in the No. 6 spot 6-3, 6-4. It marks Lundell's first collegiate dual win. 

The doubles team of Kuntz and redshirt sophomore Pavan Uppu (Pickerington, Ohio) were named the Kwik Star Summit League Doubles Team of the Week for the second time this season after winning 6-2 over Wisconsin and battling the No. 80 team in the country to a 7-5 loss in the Western Michigan match.
