SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha Men's Tennis duo Pavan Uppu and Bryan Kuntz were named the Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performers of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
 
Kunts (Cuiaba, Brazil) and Uppu (Pickerington, Ohio) secured their second win over a Big Ten team with a 6-2 win in the No. 1 flight over Wisconsin's Oliver Olsson and Thomas Zlatohlavek. The duo also battled No. 80 Alexander Antonopoulos and Oscar Corwin from Western Michigan and pushed the match into extra games before losing 7-5.
 
This is the second time this season the pair has won the award this season.
 
The Mavs return home on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. CT to play Midland at Miracle Hill Tennis Center.
