OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Men's Tennis defeated Saint Louis, 4-1, on a snowy afternoon at home in Omaha. 

The Mavericks (3-6) lost the doubles point against the Billikens (2-7) with losses in the No. 1 and No. 3 matches. 

Despite trailing early, it did not take long for the Mavs to take the lead. 

Sophomore Kaden Taylor (Clive, Iowa) earned his second singles win of the dual season. Taylor defeated SLU's John Varley 6-1 in the first set and 6-2 in the second in the No. 6 flight. Freshman Maddox Lundell (Minnetonka, Minn.) was right behind Taylor with a 6-3, 6-2 win over SLU's Valentin Vasquez in the No. 5 match. 

Graduate Bryan Kuntz (Cuiaba, Brazil) won his match in the first flight, 6-4, 7-6 (4).  

Junior Christian Trevey (Parker, Colo.) sealed the match for the Mavericks with his win over Sacha Lefebure from SLU. Trevey won the first set 6-3 before losing the second 6-2. He came back in the third to win 6-1 and ended the match. 

Omaha will close out the month of February with a neutral-site match against Oklahoma State that will be played in Lincoln, Neb., at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 26.
