SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Omaha Men's Tennis player Maddox Lundell was named the Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. 

Lundell, a freshman from Minnetonka, Minn., secured a dual win for the Mavericks at UIC with a win in the No. 5 flight. He defeated UIC's Emil Dapcevic 6-2, 5-7, 6-2. Lundell closed out the most recent weekend of competition with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Northern Illinois' Iker Dellien. 

Lundell has improved to 4-3 in singles matches this spring. 

The Mavericks will welcome Saint Louis at 1 p.m. CT on Friday, Feb. 20.
