TOPEKA, Kan. – Omaha Track and Field sprinter
Jocelynn Skoda landed in the top-10 all-time in program history at the Washburn Open on Friday and Saturday.
Skoda, a native of West Point, Neb., is now eighth all-time in the record book with a time of 56.74. Her time eclipsed
Macy Persinger's set last season and pushes Adrienne Danner's time set in 2001 out of the top-10.
Junior
Avyn Urbanski (Grand Island, Neb.) recorded a personal record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.75. Her performance in the preliminary round secured her a spot in the semifinal round.
Senior
Emma Klein (Gower, Mo.) finished fourth in both the triple and long jump with a personal best in the long jump with an attempt of 5.63 meters.
The Mavericks are back in action next week on Friday, Feb. 6 for the Iowa State Classic.
