SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha Men's Tennis duo Pavan Uppu and Bryan Kuntz were named the Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performers of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
 
Kunts (Cuiaba, Brazil) and Uppu (Pickerington, Ohio) opened the season with a win in No. 1 doubles over Nebraska's Colsen Wells and Matt Shearer. The Mavericks bested their in-state opponent 6-4 in the first match of the doubleheader.
 
The Mavs open their home schedule on Saturday, Jan, 24 at noon against Wichita State at Miracle Hill Tennis Center.
