OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Track and Field is back from break for the Graduate Classic on Friday, Jan. 16 and Saturday, Jan. 17.
The classic will be hosted by Nebraska at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Neb. The Mavericks will kick off competition on Friday with the 400-meter dash at 1:05 p.m. CT and on Saturday with the 200-meter dash at 10:40 a.m. CT.
Omaha will send 24 athletes to compete in nine events, seven on the track and two in the field.
The Mavericks have already competed at Nebraska once this season. At the Husker Holiday Open (Dec.12, 25), Omaha finished the day with four personal records. Senior
Emma Klein (Gower, Mo.) set a PR in the 60-meter dash, sophomore
Jocelynn Skoda (West Point, Neb.) and junior
Ava Robinson (Aurora, Colo.) recorded personal bests in the 300-meter dash and sophomore
Lilly Smith (Ankeny, Iowa) finished the day in the 60-meter hurdles.
