OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha baseball (18-24, 11-13 Summit League) plays its final stretch of regular season contests at Tal Anderson Field with a four-game homestand beginning with three games from Friday through Sunday against South Dakota State (14-29, 10-13 Summit League) and a matchup against crosstown rival, Creighton on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT in the home regular season finale.
Sunday's game will honor Omaha baseball's seniors.

- According to the NCAA, the Mavericks lead the Summit League in batting average (.283), stolen bases (48 tied with North Dakota State) and are second in fielding percentage (.967). St. Thomas is not included in official NCAA rankings, but is hitting .290 as a team.
Scouting South Dakota State
- The Jackrabbits won two of three in Brookings, S.D. (April 11-13), outscoring the Mavericks 20-8 in the first two games before Omaha exploded for a season-high 19 runs and a school record-tying 24 hits in the final game, downing SDSU 19-5.
- Carter Sintek enters play with the conference's third-highest average at the plate (.362).
- Luke Luskey leads the Summit League with 14 home runs this season, the only hitter to eclipse 10 or more to date.
- Luskey also leads the conference in RBIs (52).
- Jake Goble leads the league in ERA (3.15).
Creighton
- Omaha last beat Creighton twice in a season in 2022, when they swept them in two games.
- Tuesday marks the final of three games in 2025 against its crosstown rival, with the series knotted up 1-1.
- The Mavericks welcome the Bluejays back to Tal Anderson Field after a decisive 11-5 victory at Charles Schwab Field, Omaha, on April 29.
