TULSA, Okla. - Omaha Women's Tennis (14-9) fell in the regular season finale 2-5 to Summit League foe Oral Roberts (9-11) at Bernis Duke Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Mavericks had set a new program record with 10 straight match wins ahead of Sunday's match at Oral Roberts.

"Tough way to end the regular season," head coach Adam Summitt said. "The conditions were difficult from the start—however, no excuses from today. We did not play well as a team, and Oral Roberts played inspired tennis from the start."

Freshman Nina Wiese won her 11th straight match over Luna Morini 6-4, 1-6, 6-4.

Senior Keegan VanPelt topped Cecilia Franzin 6-3, 7 (7)-6 (3).

"We must quickly move on as we prepare for next weekend's conference tournament," Summitt added.

Omaha is the third seed in the Summit League Championships and will face second-seeded Oral Roberts on Friday, April 18, at 6 p.m. MT/7 p.m. CT at Denver Tennis Park.
