Box Score

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Women's Tennis (6-8) earned its second victory of the weekend and third straight home match as it beat Bradley 6-1 on Saturday afternoon at Miracle Hill Tennis Center.

"Solid victory to end the weekend," head coach Adam Summitt said. "This match easily could have been a trap and one where we play down after a thrilling win on Friday night. Bradley is battling injuries and didn't have a full team. It is easy for us to think it will be an easy win. Bradley made us earn the matches. Our team had some great focus and effort today."

For the second straight day, the doubles pair of junior Zoe Adkins and sophomore Khayli Buckels earned a doubles victory as they beat Madi Rogers and Anna Belogliadova 6-3.

Adkins also routed Belogliadova in singles 6-1, 6-2.

Freshman Nina Wiese beat Ruby Tseng in dominant fashion 6-0, 6-1.

Fellow freshman Katelynn Kock left with another singles victory over Compassion Tsai 6-3, 6-1.

Junior Summer Shannon earned her first singles victory of the weekend over Rogers 7 (7) – 6 (1), 7-5.

Junior Jacqueline Pearsall earned a forfeit victory in singles and doubles with senior Keegan VanPelt.

The Mavericks return to action when they travel north to take on Drake in Des Moines, Iowa, on Thursday, March 13 at 5 p.m. and then head to Cedar Falls, Iowa, to face Northern Iowa on Friday, March 14 at 4 p.m. CT.
