SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - It was a Maverick sweep this week as Pavan Uppu was named Kwik Star Summit League Singles Peak Performer of the Week, while he and his doubles partner Christian Trevey were also named Kwik Star Summit League Doubles Peak Team of the Week.

Uppu went 2-0 in singles play this week as part of Omaha's victories over Oral Roberts and Nebraska-Kearney. On Friday against ORU's Ryan Holloway, Pavan clinched victory for the Mavericks with a 6-3, 6-4 win. Then, on Sunday, he got the team started in singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Alex Jaulin.

In doubles play, Uppu and Trevey also went 2-0. Facing the Golden Eagles, the duo clinched the doubles point for Omaha with a dominant 6-2 win. Against the Lopers, the two of them were again victorious, beating the opposition 6-4 as the Mavericks swept the doubles round for the first time this season.
