POCATELLO, Idaho – Omaha Women's Basketball fell to Idaho State, 74-43, on the road in the first leg of the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge.
The Mavericks (1-7) shot 32.10% from the field against the Bengals (5-2) with a 25% mark from beyond the arc.
Freshman Regan Juenemann (Crosby, Minn.) recorded her second game scoring in double figures with a career-high 11 points. She paced the Mavs in scoring. Juenemann logged her fourth game this season with four 3-pointers.
Freshman Avril Smith (Omaha, Neb.) and junior Ali Stephens (Fort Wayne, Ind.) tallied eight rebounds apiece. Stephens' boards were all on the defensive end while Smith had five defensive rebounds and three offensive boards.
The Mavericks are back at home for the latter half of the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge. Omaha will face Northern Colorado at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 6 inside Baxter Arena.
