OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha Men's Tennis team is staying home for the second event of the fall season for the Omaha Invite on Saturday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 5 at Koch Tennis Center.
Last time out, freshman
Maddox Lundell (Minnetonka, Minn.) made a splash with a Flight C championship in his first appearance as a Maverick with a 10-7 win in the third set tie-break.
Graduate student
Bryan Kuntz (Cuiaba, Brazil) made his flight semifinal and he also made the finals in doubles along with partner junior
Kristian Thomas (Toronto, Ontario, Canada).
The Mavericks are co-hosting the event with Creighton. Fellow Summit League member North Dakota and Washburn will round out the field of play.
Play is set to begin at 9 a.m. CT at Kock Tennis Center. Admission is free.
