OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Volleyball lost to St. Thomas, 3-0, at home on Thursday.
The Mavericks (6-12, 3-6 Summit League) lost each set to the Tommies (14-6, 7-2) by the same margin with a score of 25-18 in all three sets.
Omaha only led in one category on the box score with 7.5 total team blocks to St. Thomas' three. Sophomore Alizabeth Jacobson (Neola, Iowa) recorded the lone solo block of the match while junior
Emily Huss (Fairbury, Neb.) led the way in assisted blocks with four.
Senior
Kali Jurgensmeier (Wahoo, Neb.) made progress toward 1,000 kills with another nine added to the tally to reach 964 in her collegiate career. Her nine kills led the Maverick offense.
